Patchwork and quilting have now become a wider and wider area in our online store. Thanks to the advice from Elena we can now select the perfect batting for our patchwork and, again, following the "video-direcitons" of our favorit quilter together we have discovered the little tricks and basic techniques needed for relying on a wonderful end quilt.
In a few words, in Europe on the whole and in Italy in particular, quilting is gaining more and more ground and it's gradually proving to be as successful as it has been in the USA for decades and decades. An evidence of all this also comes from the number of quilting fabrics, which are steadily being sold like hot cakes in our warehouse (including those from Timeless Treasures which Elena told us about in her latest post).
However, patchwork and quilting don't mean fabrics and battings only, for they rely on a whole series of lovely and useful tools, like those from the American Accuquilt. Among them. the amazing dies for their machines Go! and Go! Baby: a lot of different shapes for your applique quilting.
And, last but not least, take a look at the strongest fusible webs, too: resistant, but easy to work with, they come from the most renowned brand in this industry, Freudenberg and will allow you to create even the most original quilted coats and jackets!
In short, a lot of brand new accessories, conceived to give you the chance to try any kind of patchwork, quilting and applique craft, to discover that being a quilter doesn't mean to simply sew together patches and patches of color fabrics!
