If you have never used them you don't know what you are missing. These tiny beads have a wonderful effect on embroidery projects. I have used them in many of mine including an embroidered frame for a mirror made up by a flowery garland design. I used the beads to fill up the centres of the flowers and used threads of matching and contrasting colours and the central mirror picked up the sparkle of the beads.....The whole project ended up as an object of art which received a place of honour in a local exhibition. I have also found very useful and versatile to use the numbers 42027, 42011, 45270. When used with various DMC threads no.42027 beads in particular pick up the colour of the thread used and in this manner you end up with more beading shades. Same happens with other beads in the same category such as no.42017 for instance which is light blue and you can turn it into dark blue with the proper thread. Play with beads and threads and you will enjoy it. Good luck.
