After reading the negative experience of irfr44951 with the yarns and fabric in the "Country of Cornflowers" kit, I have replaced the fabric with a Zweigart aida 20, but it sure would be perfect in aida 18 or 16 or linen 32 ct .. The threads do not have a brand but they are very beautiful, they do not fade when washed and I personally have not had problems with them. The graphic looks very naive but you shouldn't be fooled by its apparent simplicity, since you have to be very careful in its execution and you also have to continually change the thread, but the result is a beautiful embroidery and that is why I would like to embroider the 4 other kits from this collection of houses...

It would be useful to remove the words "with slate" from the product title. The title thus misleads. I only now understood (reading your response to another previous review of 2014) that the manufacturer does not insert the slate into the package together with the plastic line counter with the four magnets. My fault: I should have read the previous reviews more carefully and I would have understood that inside the package I would have found the line counter WITHOUT the slate...
