Finished at last! And 'TOUGH, but for real, but one of the most beautiful embroidery I've ever done, beautiful and shiny colors of many beads (indispensable special needle) Highly recommended but be patient..

Nativity Story - Square TableTopper

I used an Aida 55 and to realize this embroidery are needed 15 skeins, not 2. Some inaccuracies in written, to watch before you start embroidering. Very nice and impressive, I did it with ouline DMC 815 and E3852 gold...

Staff: Hello dear, thank you for your review :-) We would like and we seem to correct to point out that the tissue indicated by 'author of this diagram to embroider a 36ct linen (or 35CT), or a linen with about 150 wires in 10 cm. This means that on that linen embroidering cross 75 points in about 10 cm ... Against 55 points in 10 cm you embroider on 'Aida that you have freely chosen to use. Therefore, the number of skeins of yarn necessary, for strength became much greater, compared to those indicated, which were calculated, precisely, to a much more dense fabric of 'Aida 55 :-) Of course, from 2 to 15 skeins , the difference a lot, but - as always explain to those who ask - the amount of wire used depends on a number of factors (the tissue in the first place, of course, but also the way of embroider, because c ' who embroiders the spreaders in more "closely " and those who love to keep them, however, slightly more loose) that are impossible to calculate all together, before performing the work. Even more so, when it comes to a nice full-bodied work, such as this, which counts 390X390 cross points :-) Best wishes!
