I picked up this book because I have some very wonderful in this series, and because I liked the cover. As soon as the order came with many books and much material was, however, the last book that I opened ... and a WONDERFUL surprise! The cover does not show that one of the least interesting of the many proposed works! A real poem at the needle tip, with so many ways to represent birds and birds of all kinds, all rendered with gentleness, poetry, elegance and finesse. Pictures romantic and full of tenderness, a real riot of good taste and novelty ... S bench because it is a topic fairly traditional and a book in which c 'so much respect for tradition, manages to amaze the way to be absolutely original in which the flight, the birds and the lightness of the feathers are processed. The sensitivity of the author truly extraordinary! I am very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this book to all embroiderers who enjoy the real beauty. This book EXACTLY as I expected and what ... just WONDERFUL! There are many schemes dedicated to the boutiques of the past, to those dear to memory and tradition, in those fancy or romantic, to those more colorful and "fragrant." For each proposed work no shortage historical notes which tell of that particular boulanger rather than the history of French cuisine, notes reporting anecdotes of that famous milliner or that special haberdashery ... and then recipes, poems, quotes .... The schemes are all in color and clear. Veronique no exceptions: a great artist! I'm really happy to have added this book to my embroidery library and recommend it to all lovers of quality spreaders..

I initially hesitated in buying this agenda because of the cost and the expected long wait, but I really did very well to take it! The patterns range from simple to more jobs friendly and fast to more complex for very detailed and ambitious squares. All are clear, not in color, but with distinguishable symbols. I recommend this book to lovers of good crosses, autumn ... and of course to all the fans of Jack o 'Lantern!..
