After 9 years of use it is still "in service", some scratches, as is normal for long use and the various falls and the silver plates have oxidized a little, but it is part of the old age of the product. That the garments are three and "divisible" is obvious when it is threaded into the needle, tricky like most metallics, but, although it is not a full-bodied yarn, the result is excellent.
