About 5 years ago I stitched this scheme, not for myself, but on commission. I realized on white Aida with wire ecr, because cos I was asked, and the final effect surprised me: I thought proves dull and instead ... I delivered a delicate embroidery, ethereal, almost impalpable. The woods of Parolin despite being conceived in a straight line, lined with trees and not overlapping, so without perspective, are still able to create the effect of a living and harmonious forest, a paradise populated by deer, birds, hares, branches forming hair big and small, pine and scrub, a forest where you can "enter" and imagination follow paths illuminated by the full moon. Being a monochrome embroidery, fun to try to stitch it on colorful canvases using yarn dyed contrast, the combinations are endless, but you can be sure you always get a nice effect and in any case and original.
