I bought this book at a fair ... of succulents! They have always been fascinated by these "monsters" of uncertain color, blue-green, sometimes gray, spherical shape and funny because it seems chestnut curls (my favorite), but I also appreciate those long and even those lumpy, of which not easy to describe the shape, but all "armed" with thorns, sometimes so long as seem daunting if only to water them! This book was very helpful to me to be able "to understand each other more than" the most proper way to breed them, grow them, and also with great satisfaction ... see them bloom! The flowers of these plants are incredible: open during the day, close the evening, last for a few days, but they have the characteristic of being very large, colorful and bizarre to where they are going to bloom. Some bloom from the top center of the plant, like an umbrella, others form "crowns" of small flowers in a circle, others to form groups such as "fireworks", but the colors are stunning: fuchsia, lemon yellow, white , violet, with pistils in contrasting colors, always very lively ... I spell to observe them, because the cacti are actually a bit ' "ugly" but they do the "gifts" drugs to those who take care of them, and I every time I am amazed! Thanks to this book I can get these blooms and my succulents become increasingly large and chubby!
