October 27th, 2013: a day to remember!

Hi Folks!
Even we'll still have to wait for a little more than a couple of weeks, when you're planning something, it's better to plan in time Here at Casa Cenina, we're getting ready, while "oversea" email exchange with her - our welcome guest Stacy Nash - are getting more and more frequent! So, it seems now reasonable to give you those details, we've already talked about in our previous posts

We look forward to meeting you on Sunday October 27th, directly at our warehouse, where we'll be glad to welcome you, from 10 am to 4 pm.

In the morning, between 10 and 1 pm approx., Stacy is going to explain to you the basics to give your stitching fabrics that "primitive" look, typical of this fascinating embroidery style, clearly echoing the past. Moreover, she's going to show you how she's used to finishing her products herself, so that you can then make exactly in the same way when you're home: easily, but with the whole "kind of magic" of this technique! We're going to fit out our meeting room for the class, so - since the seats in the room are not endless! - we beg you to email us, confirming your participation, at our usual email address [email protected]. In the afternoon, Stacy will still stay at your own disposal, to share some more time with you, signing her book and patterns and for taking the pictures, even of her amazing finished projects, which she's taking with her, straight from the USA!

Just outside the gate, you'll see a black, vertical sign, with our logo "Casa Cenina" on, in a very lively, dark pink, making it well visible from the road. There aren't usually any problems for parking: just ring the bell and... Our headquarters are in the furthest building in front of you, standing out for their vivid-green shade of its walls. If you're coming by train, since no public transport service is available from the station in Arezzo to our village on Sundays, we beg you to send us an email with your mobile phone and we'll get back to you with a phone number of ours, to call when you're reaching Arezzo (let's say half an hour earlier), so that we can come and pick you up at the station directly. Of course, we will also take you to the station for your trip back home. Please, bear in mind that the above-mentioned phone number will be provided strictly upon your written request and privately, replying to your email.

As usual, if you want to take advantage of this new event of ours to place a Pick&Pay order, you're definitely free and welcome to do so: the deadline to send your online orders in this way is Thursday, October 24th so that you'll find them ready and waiting for you when you arrive.

PS: There won't be any catering service during the day… But we'll make sure you can find some snacks, not to "starve" throughout the day... Better than nothing!!!!
