Straight from the fall edition of Abilmente 2011, four renowned cross stitch and needlework designers were also among its protagonists and we had the pleasure to share with them a busy and creative weekend. They are
Marie Suarez,
Nicoletta Farrauto,
Bernadette Baldelli and
Maria Concetta Ronchetti.
First of all, we’d like to thank them all for the precious help they gave us in arranging and managing our contest
A Kit… an idea, but even for the time we spent together in Vicenza.
So, here are some more brand new products from these great designers, already available for your shopping in our online store.
Marie Suarez has broadened her horizons of tireless, “sparkling” stitcher, with two new patchwork patterns: a panel with her unmistakable thread sppols,
Le coeur à l'ouvrage: panneau de patch brodé, also available as
a semi-kit and
Mon sac à patch: petit sac à ouvrage en patchwork brodé, a lovely purse for any kind of accessory, available as
a semi-kit, as well.
Nicoletta Farrauto, known mainly as
Niky's creations has created, expressly for Christmas, a characteristic Advent Calendar, her
Primitive Advent Calendar featuring 24 different designs, inspired by ancient, historical samplers. An original and unusual way to decorate your Xmas tree in the living room, while waiting for Xmas Eve all together, among
primitive patterns and old-looking fabrics. As with these
Christmas Bells to “deck the halls with bows of… Primitive cross stitch”!
Bernadette Baldelli launched her latest work right in Vicenza,
Les oiseaux migrateurs, published just a few days before the exhibition. But visitors also fell in love with her castles, which you can now find here, too:
Le châtea de Passy Les Tours,
Le châtea de Plessis-Bourré,
Le châtea de Saumur.
Last but not least, from
Antichi Ricami, the well-known brand established by Maria Concetta Ronchetti, a number of brand new charts
in Digital Delivery. Maria Concetta has definitely pioneered with Casa Cenina this new way to buy and sell needlework and cross stitch charts and she’s now proposing
flowers and
samplers standing out for their traditional – though modern at the same time – style. And be sure not to miss her second book, fully dedicated to her “specialty”
the Broderie Suisse that’s going to be published soon.
