Saturday at Casa Cenina, here we are with a brand new series of fabrics from
Moda freshly entered in our catalog.
They’re all perfect for any Fall and Winter quilting project you may have… Though they are well suitable for Spring, too, thanks to their “cool” flowers and patterns, . As a matter of fact, flowers brighten up the patterns of these cotton fabrics that – as required by the tradition of patchwork – come in
fat quarters, pre-cut pieces of 55x45 cm approx.
So, straight from
Moda Fabrics here’s a whole range of fabrics with all the shades of ochre, brown and blue-green colors as their protagonists. Such as this
Curio 30272-11 that, thanks to its writings and frets, can perfectly match plain-color fabrics, such as
Luna Notte: Giardino Marble.
While if you’re already thinking of “diving into” Xmas atmosphere, we suggest you this red

Le stoffe della Moda sono le mie preferite, tanto che ne acquisterei in quantità anche senza avere in mente un progetto preciso, soltanto per averle.
Ho saputo che la Moda Fabrics produce anche delle stoffe di altezza maggiore (mi pare 270 cm), da utilizzare per il retro delle trapunte di grandi dimensioni senza dover fare delle giunture.
Pensate che in futuro potreste inserire anche qualcuna di queste sul vs. sito?

Cara Annalisa, ciao :-)
Sì: conosciamo questa linea di Moda Fabrics, che si chiama proprio "Quilt Backings" e comprende una cinquantina di stoffe in altezza 108 pollici (che sono proprio circa 275 cm :-)). In futuro, onestamente, prevediamo di mettere a catalogo tutto quanto targato Moda Fabrics :-) Ma non posso darti dei tempi precisi, perché non dipendono da noi, ma dalla politica distributiva di questo colosso americano, che è - credimi - davvero molto "stretta"... Posso dirti con sicurezza al 100%, però, che ci stiamo lavorando praticamente ogni giorno e speriamo davvero di allargare sempre più la nostra selezione Moda in tempi brevi... Quindi, continua a "tenerci d'occhio" ;-)

Sono molto contenta di sentire che la collezione Moda Fabrics continuerà ad ampliarsi, e comunque penso ci siano buone probabilità che riusciate ad avere anche le Quilt Backings prima che io finisca la mia trapunta.
