Casa Cenina celebrates its 5th Birthday

Happy Birthday Casa Cenina! But the gifts are all for you, our friends!

Five years ago, at this time, I was on my sofa trying to explain to Giovanni and Monica the crazy idea I had on my mind of an online shop of embroidery products. Life and destiny had made us meet each-other three years before and share together for about two years a concluding work experience. The need for something new was probably what united us the most.
I clearly remember that what stroke mostly Giovanni was the magnifique Colours Card by DMC which at the time was hard to find so that I had a lot of difficulties to have it from my favourite haberdasher's. I showed them my box of creations, my beautiful fairy by Mirabilia on my lounge wall, my collectors of all my charts and I explained to them that I couldn't find anything in the ordinary haberdasher's, so I had to buy a lot of things abroad. Within a few days, with a lot of unconsciousness, the first order for a wholesaler was delivered, Giovanni was working on a software and I was doing the graphical part... on the 6th of Dec. our site was online!

Five years have passed and we've made our way!
I remember that at the time we were happy when we had 10 orders par week. I think nobody could imagine the proportions that this crazy projet has achieved. But now we are here, with a magnifique 5 year experience, wonderful objectives and a lot of ideas for the future.
We're proud to say that today we are one of the most wel-known and exported websites as far as embroidery and woman hobbies are concerned. Our Festa del Ricamo (a real tradition) has united a lot of friends and the designers are happy to be our guests. We thank them all: Ellen Maurer Stroh, M. Powell, Giulia Punti Antichi, Per Filo per Segno, MTV Design, Lizzie Kate, Renato Parolin, Isabelle Vautier, Nimue, Bothy Threads made us live a wonderful experience!
We are also proud to be the Italian distributors for Mill Hill and the European ones fo Per Filo Per Segno. We are also the direct sellers of some famous marks all over the world. In fact, Dimensions Crafts has given to us the exclusive for some of its products. What a struggle it has been!
Moreover, the visibility of our website has increased with the French version and the soon-to-come Spanish translation. The English website has been useful from the very beginning (even if with some language mistakes), but it is not only a matter of website translations. We answer to our foreign customers directly in their language and our Italian friends know that we want to create a relationship based on courtesy and accuracy.
What website can offer you all this? And we've made all this thanks to you whi followed and supported us through these 5 years. In order to thank you and to celebrate this important event, we're organizing a lot of initiatives for all our friends who shared with us this incredible experience.

Right now two wonderful initiatives:

  • a "coupon" equal to the 5% of the purchase that we offer to all our friends who will make an order from the 1/10/2008 to the 31/12/2008!
    How it works: every time we deliver an order (made in the period between the 1/10/2008 and the 31/12/2008 included), we will insert a "coupon" equal to the 5% of the total purchase (i.e. the sum of the products bought but not the products on offer) that you will be able to use for the following orders.
    Note: the "coupon" will be unique for each purchase et the code given with the dispatch note will have to be put in the specific field of the chart in order to use it.
    Ex: on the 4th Octobre you order a total of 100 euros (excluding transport, delivery, offers etc..) With the products you will receive a code for a reduction by 5 euros (5% of 100 euros). You will have to insert this code on your chart for your next order.

  • to "Conta le Case" we add "Conta le Case TOP" reserved to our special customers.
    What it is: from the 1/10/2008 the purchases made on Casa Cenina will be accumulated in a special moneybox. The day 1 October 2009 we will calculate the total of the purchses made from the 1/10/2008 to the 30/9/2009 and if the total of the purchases made over a year is:
    - superior to 1000€ we will credit you a gift voucher equal to the 3% of the purchases made over the 12 months that you will be able to use for the following purcheses.
    - superior to 3000€ we will credit you a gift voucher equal to the 5% of the purchases made over the 12 months that you will be able to use for the following purcheses.
    Warning! We will insert in the moneybox the total of the purchse without the reductions.

    Conta le Case TOP will be added to the normal Conta le Case and it will be valid over the years!
