Don't call it just "tape"!

Hi folks

When I was a child - i.e. in the far away Seventies, to be honest! - when you asked for a tape in any haberdashery shop, you were given a more or less narrow band of fabric, with well-defined edges (selvages, actually) and quite stiff, both on its whole length, as well as if taken on its bias.
I can perfectly remember my mom used it almost everywhere, to reinforce the hems of the whole family's trousers and, sometimes, even to cover them, if the seams were too evident The tape was to be found virtually everywhere, even as a simple lace, on everyday clothes that needed to be washed quite often such as aprons, or also to simply create little eyelets, to hang kitchen towels. In short, it was very widespread, even though almost never as an "embellishment"
Now, this concept has completely turned around! And luckily for us, I'd say very frankly, for this is a further evidence of the fact that nothing - not even what can seem us the most banal thing of all - can be taken for granted!

So, the "tape" has invaded my life once again - and the life of many of you out there, too, I bet - in a brand new form and in just in that only use, which was unthinkable 30 years ago: the decorative one!!! And when I say "decorative", I mean it in the way that's for most - if not all - women the most meaningful one: i.e. in the embellishment of our everyday life with our most beloved accessories, such as bags, totes, clutches, hats and more!

And everything, of course, with no need of being an expert of knitting or crocheting: this is the other peculiarity of this "revolution"!
Just a basic knowledge of the fundamentals is enough, as well explained in this book and you'll be literally launched in this amazing universe of colors and fancy!
For sure, these kits are the perfect idea to get started already including the balls, the bamboo knitting needles and/or crochet hook and the detailed instructions to craft your "tape" accessory, but - most of all - perfect to get a precise idea of the quantity of Zpaghetti needed to knit or crochet this or that, learning the correct proportions and then crafting always something new and different!

So, free your creative flair and... Please, don't call it just "tape"!!!
