Dear Friends,

the new year has started with a lot of news here at Casa Cenina. Not only fabrics, kits or threads, but also embroidery and patchwork artists and designers whose products are in our catalog starting from January.

So here is from Texas Lace Tales specialized in the production of patterns to iron on fabrics and to stitch on the spot. You will have just to iron the patterns and to embroider the lines on the fabric! A cushion for your house or a quilt: these are two of the possible projects you can make with these American designs.

And since January on our pages we have also Madame Chantilly, an artist from Piedmont who has always been in love with embroidery and who has transformed this hobby into a work. Let's start knowing her a little bit more by having a glance at her charts on black cats and little witches.

But January brings also the first news on the Festa del Ricamo. We are already thinking about our next edition of which we have the pleasure to officially communicate to you the dates.
Well, this year the Festa del Ricamo get doubled! Two will be the days dedicated to our guests!

We are also able to announce to you that we will have three guests, three real authorities in their arts: patchwork, embroidery and lace. Other than presenting to us her latest creations, the three artists will make some classes on Saturday. On the other hand, on Sunday (it's a tradition!) you will be able to buy our products in our little market and to meet in person the authors.

So, why don't you start to organize your weekend in Tuscany? The 9th and 10th of April we want you to come to the double rendezvous of the Festa del Ricamo 2011!
