Spring colors are literally invading the whole range from Crabapple Hill Studio, a brand established by Meg Hawkey in Benton City, in the State of Washington. And in the USA, this little town is known to be and called "a Tuscany Sort of Place", just like the "homeland" of Casa Cenina. And Benton is indeed a particularly fertile place, rich in farming, fruit trees and vineyards, and with a yearly average of 300 days of sunshine. It's not by chance, actually, that gardening is among Meg's favorite hobbies and nature her greatest source of inspiration. Flowers, soft shades, little plants... There are a lot of subjects of these kinds in her models Crabapple Hill Studio and Spring, everybody knows, is the most suitable and inspiring time of the year, for needlework and quilting works, conceived to decorate our homes.

Crabapple Hill Studio signs both cross stitch and needlework charts and quilting patterns, to craft unique projects, for Meg started when she was actually a little, very little, one matching creative sewing and embroidery, to personalize her Barbie's dresses. This passion has later turned into a job, because Meg worked for a quilt shop for many years, in the past, until making up her mind and opening her own business, creating her designs and joining the renowned International Quilt Market in Texas. Her projects were immediately so successful to give her enough confidence to get on and now Crabapple Hill Studio is a famous brand, though it still keeps the faith to that sense of familiarity and tradition, which its name has always been based upon. The crabapple, in fact, is a wild tree, whose shadow Meg used to sit under and sew when she was a child.
