The Blue Attic: a new designer from France

She has started creating her patterns a very few weeks ago and actually the chart Laura Ingalls Sampler is the very first work by Nathalie Melot, designer of The Blue Attic.

The name of the brands derives from Nathalie's passion for the fabrics colored in blue and from her grandparents' attic which represented for little Nathalie a true Aladdin's cave. Fantasy and imagination have remained intact year after year and actually ten days ago Nathalie has started embroidering. But it has been a year, she has fallen in love with the American primitive style and with all the surrounding techniques: cross-stitch, primitive dolls etc.
Moreover Nathalie loves sewing and combining this technique to embroidery for unique results.

Passion and creativity have pushed her some weeks ago to make her ideas more concrete through these charts to embroider. With needle, threads, fabrics but also her beloved computer, Nathalie has funded her brand, The Blue Attic which is today not only a dream, but a project which will certainly be successful in the embroidery market!
