This ancient japanese art consists of tying really thin strings of paper together, creating decorative interlacings.
The string is made from a tightly reeled silk paper that measures about 2 cm of width. Mizuhiki traditionnaly went with ceremony announcements such as weddings, births and funerals. Nowadays these creations are used as beautiful jewelry or decorative objects.
