This spool of thread I bought it because I serve to realize the embroidery "Seasons of Love" by Cross Point Design. And 'ideal for embroidering the stars, present in this embroidery, because it has a very bright appearance, with pearly reflections that will help to make them stand out on the dark cloth and shine with their own light, like real stars, though at first glance may simply look like a white a bit 'shiny. This canvas has a very particular effect, because it seems a little "patchy" with white on a background tint ecr or dmc 3024. Indeed this coloring it comes very close to the veins of marble, however while the reverse appears white. Generally useful to get a gradient background that is not too marked and invasive, or you can take advantage of this canvas if you want to embroider something antique look, I think the ideal would be a coat of arms, which will appear as cos if indeed it was built on a marble stand. Also original to reproduce, with embroidery, a Degree, embroidering a big feather pen with a bright color, and then embroider the written and the name with a Gothic as it is used in real diplomas. The ancient villa like a small castle, and whitened with snow seems even more so a landscape belonging to a Christmas fairy tale, to be invented on the spot, inspired by the observation of the scene. The two places very snowy pines well made at the sides of the house, they have a very realistic look. This pattern consists of 6 sheets, with grid of medium size, and symbols, all very easy to read, even if the accompanying explanations are in English. If you want to change brands of yarn, in one of the Annexes sheets present a list where all of the DMC colors used to realize this scheme, are also converted in the brand Coats and Anchor. Booklet with some alphabets, mostly modern, suitable for embroidery for children, very simple, the central insert a bigger alphabet with simple teddy bears clinging on several "poses" to the letters of the alphabet block capitals; in the back of the insert c 'a more classic alphabet where each letter has incorporated a little rose very simple. This useful book, well done as all the books of Editions "The Castle," explains virtually ... EVERYTHING you need to know for knitting. I purchased it years ago because c 'always something to learn, and with the many photographs in this book and detailed explanations I solved many doubts.
