Grass Does Not Grow

Cute diagram depicting a group of snowmen, dressed in scarves and funny hats, under a gray sky that still promises snow, and in fact the canvas to use for this job Aida 64 Pewter Feather Blue by Permin of Copenhagen, and its color is very similar to the DMC 318. the Stoney Creek Collection realizes many schemes with snowmen, and this I liked the colors, not too bright, not "Christmas" and more "winter." The pattern in black and white, simple, with explanations in English. I do not think realizzer a little picture, I'm thinking about a roller pillow (rectangular size), to be achieved by mounting the cloth embroidered on a fabric printed cotton that depicts snowflakes with silver-gray background (I saw here at Casa Cenina), then foderer a foam roller and shut the fabric on the sides arricciandola and stopping in the center of the roller, on both sides, with a big pom-poms made of white wool. Trover his place on a couch, at Christmas time, or as a "draft excluder" placed on a window sill. Cinzia...

Un cuore per te

"A heart for you" makes the pair with "A heart for me", why are two embroideries which bind to one another, two red hearts, but also two trees, full of branches and leaves that fill all the space ... of a heart! These embroidery, like its "twin" like, it has many interpretations: the heart, the symbol of the feeling. The tree, a symbol of life. Two important symbols, which combined, can be interpreted so love (the heart) that has to grow (like a tree). Or that true love must have "deep roots." The leaves are small in most "heart for me", while in this the leaves are larger. I imagine that the first represents the woman and the second man. I bought them both, because I think these two schemes can not be divided, "travel together" one another's completion. Parolin creates embroidery that we must be able to interpret, and there will only succeed if it abandons rationality and to the feeling of space. Cinzia...

Un cuore per me

This "heart for me" Parolin has a double reading: it can be seen either as the heart, for the characteristic shape, and as a tree, in fact, clearly visible on the trunk, the branches and the leaves that come down to the roots (which forming the tip of the heart and also at the same time the base of the tree). And 'in tandem with the other "heart for you", very similar. Nice idea, because with just one embroidery, in the end, they are made of two images! Parolin as always, brilliant, and I greatly admire all his creations, original, poetic, full of feeling. Cinzia...

list of required materials is not true. In the example used DMC 111. Not DMC mouline 90 as casa ceni states. At 2 strands have never enough. If you use two wires you definitely will need 10 skeins. Also, it is much more beautiful example 28ct embroidery fabric. On 14ct embroidery fabric comes less beautiful into its own. The pattern is great and highly recommended! Too bad that the list of required materials is not true and that I have unfortunately to buy the materials...

Staff: now adapted the list of materials. We apologize for this mistake.

Hearts Together

I like the round square, like hearts, I also like to have the opportunity to enter a famous poem in an embroidery: This scheme brings together all this! The easy pattern. Very nice and smooth even the ribbon bow that closes this garland of hearts, all the same shape and size but all different in color and fantasy. I'm looking for a phrase or little-known poem to replace schema words, I want to write with another alphabet, even if the scheme provided the complete alphabet and numbers to make the writing as presented in the picture. I really like, because an unusual picture, nice for the happy colors but not boisterous. It would also be nice with no writing inside, which could be replaced maybe stretching the thread of two small red hearts tied to the bow on the top and making them "down" until you reach the center of the circle, so would fill the void left by the possible lack of written sentence.
