Baby Shower

I bought many years ago this book because I loved it the pattern on the cover with heart flowers and the fawn. Then I discovered that observing good among the flowers sprout a squirrel, a rabbit, there are two birds, bees scattered, hanging hearts that hang like small trinkets, and although this subject is clearly intended for a birth announcement, I am convinced which is just fine as embroidery for an Easter greeting ribbon to hang the door: it seems an ode to Spring! Obviously, eliminating the top with the words on the name of the baby who should be replaced with a simple "Happy Easter". These animals are very well designed, the pattern in black and white, but I do not particularly difficult, although complex. In addition to this design, there are other players that are more cute and simple, always dedicated to childhood. These booklets are useful because grouping several subjects that can be used when necessary to find some shape to insert it in another embroidery. I served the "big face" a smiling sun, contained in this booklet, which I stitched on a potholder for my kitchen. I like the sun ... smiling at me! Cinzia... Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] |

Rico Design: Ladybug

This booklet dedicated to all ladybugs, very funny because you draw in a comic, is suitable for various projects mainly aimed at children, but adding some hearts a couple of ladybugs, as in the strip that appears at the beginning of the booklet, you get also a nice effect ... Valentine! I really like the bags (perhaps favors) because using a strip of Aida edged red to form the bag that will be closed with a red ribbon, they recall the ladybug colors embroidered in the center of the bag and the combination of the three colors (red, black and white) makes the bag very pleasant and very sharp image. Placemats, hearts to hang, greeting cards, bathrobes for babies, bibs and stripes full of ladybugs to enrich towels and bed sheets, squares and pillows ... I realized: if true that bring good luck, better embroider many, indeed many ! Cinzia... Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] |

I bought this book because I really love the butterflies and the particularity of this publication is to offer butterfly patterns to which was added the shade (such as those depicted in the photo on the cover), cosicch the effect that is perceived to see them split and then "detached" from the canvas embroidery, especially if you look from a distance, so do not seem embroidered but resting on the fabric. Also very nice birds in color on colored branches combined (branches that are in shades with the color of the canvas which made the cushion, smart choice because it is so much the little bird that stands out in color while the branch passes in second floor). The shadows of the process is repeated in the flowers of some schemes, which also cast their shadow behind the image of the flower in color. This little booklet, its low price, but the ideas it offers are very original. In fact c 'the explanation (made from three small drawings with measurements in centimeters actual size) to achieve 3 coprivasetti in Aida or linen, which will serve to contain small flowering plants: will simply fold and glue the web as taught by scheme and will become a cube containers, and on one side will show the part previously embroidered cross stitch. The other schemes are used to make pillows and mats. The numbers of colors of yarn are converted into legend for both the brand DMC that for the Anchor brand. Very nice, I recommend it, because butterflies are beautiful to see ... but also fun to embroider for the many colors that contain in the small space of their wings. Cinzia... Pillows from Paula's Garden

extraordinarily beautiful flowers, to create truly fantastic pillows! The diagrams are all in color, printed in very large size (in fact, the pattern of each cushion divided into 4 sheets), so easy to read (so no need to make the enlarged photocopies). The pillows are represented nine, one more beautiful than the other, a few also made of canvas black Aida that even more enhances the colors. These flowers are very realistic, with beautiful shades. Besides all'ortensia blue and purple iris of the photo on the cover, there are also yellow daisies, magnolia, zinnia, classic roses and wild colors. In the pictures the front and back cover and inside the booklet there are photos of these spectacular finished cushions, so you can even see how they were made up: some have the classic drawstring around, other trimmings with a fringe (smooth or "ruffled"), the one in black aida has a board made with a very large also black cord (very original and elegant), those on the cover a bi-color woven ribbon edge. To get some color shades are used moulin 2 threads of different colors paired together. The embroidery definitely challenging ... but the great results! Cinzia... Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] |
