I own this thick book (352 pages!) By more than 10 years, and I always consulted when I had the need to embroider designs are not too heavy, and especially fast, for example to build small borders, pot holders for the kitchen or bibs for babies. And 'conceived in alphabetical order, for each letter a number of subjects related, all very pretty and easy to perform (thus also suitable for those who still want to learn to embroider and undemanding schemes but the effect). And because the designs are many and not too large, this funny book because of even the possibility of composing the greatest embroidery combining different subjects, thus obtaining more and different embroideries, suitable for all needs, without wasting time to seek subjects here and there by consulting many different books. The wooden one of the few remaining materials which brings us back to nature, for this in my house I love to surround myself with a lot of wooden objects, particularly artistic but simple common use, and this book teaches very well as poterseli also do it yourself.
