Squirrel

Bought this kit as we have a local reservation of red squirrels. Unfortunately when completed neither the squirrel which was brown and the fungi was as the picture. A friend who purchased this kit many years ago (her chart is in 4 parts) is as the picture. Was extremely disappointed.

Hi, we\'re sorry for your disappointment, but Thea Gouverneur uses exclusively DMC threads in her kits and in the last years the European Union has forbidden many textile dyes used also by the manufacturers of threads, just like DMC, so many color shades had to be replaced and this can certainly have caused the difference that you\'ve found out (since you state that your friend purchased the kit many years ago). We always suggest, when you have so specific requests like this one (you needed a red squirrel) to ask, before purchasing the item, also because the colors of any picture can be very different from a computer to another (it depends from a series of element, such as the resolution of the different displays, for example).
