Though we’re talking of something that has long been consolidated here in Europe, too, the tradition of the so-called "Mystery SAL" is something we’ve definitely got used to thanks to American cross stitch designers mainly. However, on the other hand, we have to admit that the best-known artistic tradition - in the past centuries - and that of design in our time, has always been connected to the name of Italy

That’s also why, we’re so proud the first 2014 Mystery SAL is from a 100% Italian cross stitch designer: Sara Guermani!
The artist from Turin, faithful to her style - which is so successful in the USA as well - has conceived a sweet, lovely sampler… Maybe (who knows? It’s a Mystery, after all!) rich in all those elements that have made her charts so much loved to such a large audience: letters, graceful houses, little, scattered frames, trees and kids...

For issues, for a “mystery” to be revealed in eight months - so a period of time suitable for matching the busy life of "modern stitchers" - with a chart that’s going to be reserved exclusively to those who are joining the SAL: at the end of the Mystery, in fact, the chart will never be published and available for sale separately.
