Fruity Quilts opens the door to a summery world filled with ripe berries, delicate blossoms, and lovingly crafted details. Warm reds, soft rose tones, and gentle blues create a cheerful color palette that recalls sunny days in the garden and rekindles the joy of working with fabric and thread.
The sewing designs are by Andrea Flebbe. With a refined sense for color, composition, and textile harmony, she brings together classic quilt tradition and playful elements enriched with carefully considered details. Her signature style unfolds in thoughtfully composed quilt patterns, lively patchwork pieces, and delicate embroidery projects that grow step by step into cherished handmade favorites. English paper piecing and cross-stitch blend naturally into this berry-inspired theme and offer a wide range of creative possibilities.
The illustrations by Silke Leffler lend the motifs their unmistakable charm and tell gentle berry stories that run like a thread throughout the book. Coordinating fabrics, woven ribbons, and patches echo this world and create a harmonious collection in which colors and patterns complement one another beautifully.
The photography of Loreta Jasiukeniene and Elze Jasiukenaite captures the projects in a warm and natural atmosphere, showing how fabrics and details come together to create a sense of quiet, welcoming comfort.
Fruity Quilts is for everyone who loves quilting, sewing, and stitching, and who wishes to bring a fresh, fruit-inspired touch into their home.
