A cross stitch kit in an elongated format, more than twice as wide as it is tall: a deer scene that unfolds horizontally and, once finished, makes a panel to frame above a sofa or a sideboard.
The design is worked by counting stitches from the colour chart, and the fabric is black: the dark ground makes the colours stand out, but it calls for good lighting and, ideally, a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut. The written instructions are in English and Russian only, while the colour chart can be read in any language. Given its size and the number of shades, this is a demanding project, better suited to stitchers with a few counted pieces behind them.
