Tapestry Wool Hank - Biscuit Brown 766

25 g hank (unlabelled), about 55 m (60 yd), of Appleton Tapestry Wool (4 ply), pure British wool dyed and spun in the UK: good value for backgrounds and large areas.
It is the thicker of Appleton's two wools (the company has been making yarn since 1835): it covers canvas well and suits needlepoint, tapestry and cross stitch on canvas. The colours are the same as in the finer Crewel Wool. The wool should not be washed: if needed, sponge it with cold water. Keep your work out of direct sunlight.
