102 is a cream from the Au Ver à Soie Soie Perlée range: pure silk made of 3 twisted plies, very lustrous and strong, dyed in hanks for an even colour. It is perfect on 12 or 14 threads per cm linen and on silk for cross stitch, counted work and Hardanger, and is also used for bobbin lace, passementerie and sewing: topstitching on fabric and leather, buttons and buttonholes. Stitch with lengths of no more than 45 cm.
The current palette has over 290 shades, taken from Au Ver à Soie's historic 1890 shade card. Photographs do not always match the real colour: for an accurate match use a shade card.
