Metallic floss Bourdon - color 6012

6012 is a gold from the Au Ver à Soie Bourdon range: a very bright metallic cord wrapped around a core. It is perfect for traditional embroidery, cross stitch and bobbin lace, and can also be used for machine embroidery. On its own or alongside Au Ver à Soie silks, it adds light and relief to your work, for instance in outlines and in gold or silver details.

Bourdon comes in four colours, two golds and two silvers. Photographs are only a guide: the sheen of metallic threads changes a lot with the light.
