SSA Vervaco 2026/4 – Halloween Special

The mystery turns orange: the new Vervaco Secret Stitch Along is all about Halloween! ????????

You know how we feel about mystery stitch-alongs here at Casa Cenina: the more secretive, the better. This time Vervaco is out to give us a (good kind of) scare with its first-ever Halloween edition of the Secret Stitch Along: a surprise project revealed bit by bit, with no idea what will come off the needle until the very end.

The kit arrives "blind": the pattern isn't included — that's part of the game!

What it's about

This edition includes 7 mini Halloween-themed designs, meant to be stitched one after another sampler-style: witches, pumpkins, black cats and other creatures that will be revealed piece by piece, before turning into a set of cute hanging ornaments thanks to the felt backing and jute cord included in the kit.

That's the whole point of a Secret Stitch Along: the kit doesn't include the picture of the finished design or the full pattern. Participants receive the pattern fragments a little at a time by email, and only discover the result by stitching it. A suspense game that stitchers all over Europe look forward to with every edition!

How to take part

• 1Reserve your kit now at Casa Cenina. The kit includes: 100% cotton Aida fabric (14 count / 5.4 stitches per cm), genuine DMC threads (22 colours), embroidery needle, thread organiser card, felt backing and jute cord for finishing, plus instructions in 8 languages (English included).

• 2Register on the dedicated page on the Vervaco website, using the kit number you'll find inside the pack: that's how you'll receive the pattern fragments by email.
• 3Check your inbox every two days, from 28 September to 19 October 2026: each "reveal" brings a new pattern piece to stitch, until all 7 designs are complete.
