The tailors’ choice to reinforce the inside of the hem of trousers that’s the part most exposed to wear and tear from shoe heels, this 1.5cm tape is iron-on and thus extremely easy to use. Simply turn trouser leg inside out and place on a hard, smooth surface. Place lining tape with the slippery (and slightly shiny) side downwards on the leg. In the case of cotton or linen, set the iron to level 3 and iron on for about 45–60 seconds with firm pressure. For delicate fabrics set the iron to the maximum temperature recommended and iron on for about 45–60 seconds. Place a thin cloth or ironing net on top for protection. Leave the article of clothing to cool off for a few minutes, turn inside out and iron on the wrong side for about 25–30 seconds, applying pressure. Then leave the article of clothing in place to cool off. If necessary repeat the ironing process.
Dry-iron only! No damp cloth and no steam.
Care instructions: 60°C colored wash, do not bleach, tumble dry on normal temperature, maximum 80°C, iron on level 3 or maximum temperature of 200°C. Professional dry-cleaning possible.
