Description

5005 Gold Coin is a Kreinik Very Fine (#4) Braid metallic thread with a metallic finish: the thinnest braid in the range, half the thickness of Fine (#8), used straight off the card as a single strand, not separated or plied. On 16- and 18-count fabrics it replaces one strand of stranded cotton, while on 14-count Aida it gives a light metallic look. In needlepoint it is used to string beads, to couch thicker threads and for small details on top of stitches.
