Made from 60% pure virgin wool, 38% polyacrylic and 2% metallised polyester, this yarn is ideal for anyone looking for elegance combined with variegated shades and a delicate shimmering effect. The 200-g ball (approximately 700 metres) is more than enough to make a shawl, while just two balls are sufficient for a size M/L sweater.
A soft, modern yarn that is machine washable at 30°C and knitted with 4.5–5 mm needles.

Description

4042 is a multicolour from the Lana Grossa Gomitolo Gala range, an unspun roving yarn whose colour shades gradually along the ball. The blend — 60% virgin wool, 38% polyacrylic and 2% metallised polyester — gives softness and a discreet lurex sparkle. The 200 g ball (about 700 m, 765 yd) knits up on 4.5–5 mm needles and is enough on its own for a shawl.
