Oil2chaHi everybody there!
Those of you of my same age (well, let’s say a little over their forties… And that’s enough!!!) will certainly remember the “pieces of work” they bungled as little ones, with the famous DAS! I loved that grey play dough that, once dried, used to stay crystallized in the most absurd shapes that my child fancy had given it, together with the most unconvincing colors Then came the so-called Pongo and, more recently, the famous Play Doh! And in this case, too, those of you with children (just like me) know exactly what I’m talking about

However, almost four decades have passed since the days of my childhood and the “sciences of craft”, too, have made great strides. So, though our DAS still exists, the Pongo holds one and the Play Doh is steadily evolving, serious craft lovers (and when I say “serious”, I mean “skillful and keen”) can rely on a wide range of compound materials, they can model following their creative flair and, sometimes, some of them succeed in doing what many of them have always been dreaming of: turning their love for crafting into their business.

Among these lucky ones there’s Sabine Rossi, a nice French girl (even though her surname reveals origins closer to Italy ), who has offered us her hand-made products, which we immediately decided to include in our catalog… For – let’s say this – we often like to pioneer certain crafts.

So take just a few minutes to have a look at these lovely small items from Sabine, here.
>Mini croissants, cookies, small hearts and irresistible, plump sheep are her favorite subjects and she has definitely chosen to put them right at the center of her production: decorative pins, buttons, thread holders that seem to come straight from an extrovert and greedy child girl’s dream And, maybe, Sabine was a greedy little girl… But she’s certainly still an extrovert one! She was right the one giving us all the details of her creations – that’s small, but continuously expanding – explaining to us that her items are rigorously hand-made, using polymeric clay: that widely spread compound, marketed with the trade names “Fimo” and “Cernit”, colorful and virtually indestructible, once it has been dried! Anyway, Sabine sometimes loves to mix this raw material with other resins or cold china, to give an even more realistic look to her products, which (once again she underlined this herself) draw their inspiration from everyday life.

What are their most typical uses? Well, there aren’t actually “most typical uses” And that’s the deal: these unusual pins, just like these big buttons, are ideal to personalize – in a different and gorgeous way – both clothes and hats, both needlework and quilting, both knitted and crocheted creations, as well as gift boxes, small and large “cartonnage” products and several other craft works! In short, there are no limits, but those you’d like to place… Provided that you’ll be willing to place a limit!!! Also because, differently from the real ones, these treats aren’t going to endanger you shape
So, why don’t you have a bellyful of them?

Hear form me soon and… A hug
