Description

Aida extra fine is the finest Aida in the Zweigart range: the squares are small but clearly defined, so counting stays straightforward even on detailed charts. It suits miniatures, cards, bookmarks, small framed pieces and ornaments, and anyone who wants fine detail without moving to an evenweave.

Work one cross stitch over each square, using one strand of stranded cotton – two for fuller coverage on dark shades – and a size 26 tapestry needle. The weave is firm and keeps its shape in the hand, so a hoop is optional; cut edges fray, so zigzag or overcast them before starting.
