Before stitching	Do not wash the fabric before stitching: water removes the grid. The cotton and modal blend is stable (shrinkage of 1–1.5% at most), so pre-washing is not needed.
Washing after stitching	When the work is finished, soak it in lukewarm water (never above 30 °C) with a mild soap for delicates until the grid lines have disappeared; do not rub, so the threads will not bleed, then rinse in plenty of cold water.
Drying and pressing	Remove excess water by rolling the fabric in a clean towel and pressing down, without wringing; dry flat, in the shade and away from heat sources. Press on the wrong side with a folded soft towel under the embroidery.

Description

Lugana Easy Count Grid is the same evenweave as plain Lugana, with the addition of a printed grid of ten-stitch squares that replaces basted guidelines and keeps counting under control on large projects and samplers. It is a good step for anyone moving from Aida to evenweave fabrics. The cotton and modal blend is soft but firm enough for framed pictures, cushions, bags and small table linen.

Cross stitch is usually worked over two threads with two strands of stranded cotton; backstitch and half cross stitch need only one strand. Work in hand or in a frame with a size 24 tapestry needle, and wash the grid out once the stitching is finished.

Today after a few days from the order has arrived! I bought a 140x50cm cut. Beautiful fabric, even for those who are only at the beginning of the xxx point, excellent for those who embroider to counted threads and those who would like to try their hand at embroideries very demanding and long type: Heaven and Earth. Now I just have to start ... also with a little attention; just follow the lines of the squares to center the work. My rating is perfect therefore 5 stars Excellent <3
