This kit only came with half the threads. I was missing many and had to buy another kit because they don't provide the thread numbers to help you buy the correct ones. This is completely unacceptable. I advise against buying it.

Dear friend, You have written to us several times about this kit, and we have always responded promptly with all the necessary explanations, which we reiterate here. Thea Gouverneur—like all kit manufacturers—includes 25% more thread than needed to complete the embroidery, in order to cover any potential issues arising from errors while stitching that might require undoing and redoing parts of the work. However, you simply wrote to us that "many threads are missing," and since even Thea Gouverneur can make mistakes, we asked you to tell us exactly which threads were missing so we could request them from Thea Gouverneur (who would have sent them to you free of charge). But you never provided us with the precise list of missing threads, and we're sorry, but simply stating that "half the threads are missing" from the kit is not only insufficient to resolve the issue, but it's also unkind to us, as we tried to help you in every way possible. In the end, you decided to buy the kit again, even though we told you it wasn't necessary if you had simply provided us with the list of missing threads. If half the threads are indeed missing, we need to know exactly which ones. We're sorry. Thank you and best regards.
