Cosmo Hidamari

Cosmo Hidamari : From the makers of the well-known “Cosmo Embroidery” floss, this single-strand, non-divisible thread - 100% pure cotton - was originally created for Sashiko. Thanks to its smooth texture and resistance to fraying, however, it is perfect for a wide range of embroidery techniques and more! It also works beautifully as a sewing thread, fine knitting and crocheting yarn, for decorative stitching, and even for knotting (such as in modern macramé), as well as for making fringes and pompoms. The Japanese word “Hidamari” means “sunny spot” and was chosen by Lecien as the name for this thread, in the hope that its use will bring "a fun, bright, warm and happy experience”. Available on handy 30-meter (32.8 yards) spools, the strong Hidamari thread comes in 40 colors: 20 solid shades and 20 variegated ones.
