Contest Notice

• ART. 1 - Objective and Aims of the Contest
  Casa Cenina promotes and organizes the Embroidery Contest A Kit ... an idea, with the aim to promote the embroidery arts and namely the cross-stitch one through the use of a kit to create products of different types.
• ART. 2 - How to participate to the Contest
  The participation to the Contest is individual. The theme of the Contest is "Christmas".
  Each participant can compete with one or more works by fulfilling the specific participation form where they have to list the work sent for the contest.
  The works sent for the contest have to be made exclusively by using the kit bought online on Casa Cenina from the day 18 June 2011 to the day 25 September 2011. The sent works will be divided into 2 sections:
  • Section A - Works selected for the technical quality
    This section will include all embroideries made of the sole material of the purchased kit, always on the "Christmas" theme.
  • Section B - Works selected for their fantasy and creativity
    This second section includes the embroideries executed by uniting the content of the chosen kit with all other materials. This as to allow each participant to use their fantasy and mastery and to show them in their creative sewing projects which will in any case be based on "Christmas".
• ART. 3 - Prizes and Rewards
  A Jury made of qualified embroidery experts will examine the works as to select the most deserving ones which will be exposed in the Exhibition in Abilmente, Mostra - atelier della manualità creativa from the 20th to the 23rd October 2011 at the Fiera di Vicenza. All the contest participants (selected and non-selected) will receive a written communication about the jury decision. Among the selected works the Jury will give 2 prizes consisting in 2 (two) Gift Vouchers of 500 € each to use with an order on the website of Casa Cenina in a sole solution and with no time limits.
• ART. 4 - Delivery and withdrawal of the works
  The works must be safely packed by the sender and Casa Cenina is not responsible for the objects which will arrive already damages. The delivery of the works participating to the contest must be done within and not after the 15 October 2011 at the legal base of Casa Cenina, the contest organizer, indicated in the article 8 of this notice. The works must be personally delivered at the costs of the participant or through the postal service or the carrier within these timetable: 9,00 - 13,00 / 14,30 - 17,30 (except for Saturday and festive days). If the delivery is made through the postal service, the postmark will be taken into account. The works arrived for the contest (selected and non-selected) must be personally taken back from the authors (or from other people delegated through the written Participation Form) the evening of the closing day of Abilmente (Sunday 23 October 2011 from 19.00 to 20.00) at the Fiera di Vicenza. Casa Cenina will send the works only if requested and at the expenses of the participant. To all the selected participants a participation certificate will be given during the prizegiving which will be held on Sunday 23rd October 2011 at 12.00 in the specific space dedicated to this event within the Abilmente premises. The Program and the Timetable will be communicated to all participants.
• ART. 5 - Accepting the Participation Rules
  The participation to the Contest implies the unconditioned acceptance of all the rules included in this notice. For any controversy related to the participation to this contest the exclusive competent member is the Court of Arezzo.
• ART. 6 - Authorization to the publication
  The participants, as the authors of the delivered works, by signing the participation form, authorize Casa Cenina to show, reproduce, photograph and video-record the works to promote the events related to the Contest.
• ART. 7 - Information and Consensus to treat the personal details
  According to what is stated in the article 13 of the Italian law D. Lgs. n. 196/2003 (Code about the protection of personal details), we inform you that the personal details given during the fulfillment of this form can be treated under the privacy conditions and following the above-mentioned Code. The treatment of these data, through IT or manual instruments, has the following aims:
  • a) communications and commercial promotion related to the activity of Casa Cenina.
  • a) statistical elaboration and audit activities.
  • analysis and market inquiries.
  • a) historical archive of the data.
  The treatment of personal details include their collection, recording, organization, conservation, elaboration, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, re-classification of the date according to homogeneous economic categories, utilization, interconnection, block, communication, diffusion, cancellation or the combination of two or more of these operations. Even if it is not compulsory, giving these details is fundamental to inform immediately and precisely the participant about the initiatives by Casa Cenina. We also inform you that the article 7 of this code recognizes to the concerned party a lot of rights, among which: entering the Guarantee records, obtaining any information about the data which concern them, obtaining the cancellation or the block or the update, the modification or the integration together with the notice that these operation are known by the people to whom all this has been communicated, opposing for reasonable motifs to the treatment of these data for commercial or publicity or market enquiring aims. The entitled member for treating all the data is Casa Cenina, based in Capolona - Loc. Cenina, 184/A (AR). Informed of the previous notions, the participant to the contest freely expresses their consensus to the treatment of their data transmitted to Casa Cenina for the following aims: statistical elaborations, audit activities, analysis and market inquiries, historical archive of the data.
