Metallic floss Antique - color 215

215 is a red from the Au Ver à Soie Antique range: a fine metallic thread with a soft, "antique" lustre that gives your work an aged look. Use it for traditional embroidery, cross stitch and bobbin lace, and for machine embroidery too.

The range has around fifteen shades: gold, silver and copper, plain colours and two-tone threads, all with the same subdued sheen, which goes well with Au Ver à Soie silks in historically inspired embroidery. Photographs are only a guide: the sheen of metallic threads changes a lot with the light.
