Soie d'Alger - 2211

2211 is a light green from the Au Ver à Soie Soie d'Alger range, a spun (combed) silk with seven easily divisible strands, moderate lustre and a soft handle. The thread does not snarl in the needle and stands up well to abrasion: use 1 or 2 strands for cross stitch on fine fabrics, more on canvas and needlepoint. Work with lengths of no more than 45 cm.

The palette runs to over 600 shades, numbered in series: the last digit goes from the lightest (1) to the darkest (6), handy for shading. Photographs do not always match the real colour; below you will find the closest shades to 2211.
