Soie d'Alger : Au Ver à Soie Soie d'Alger: spun (combed) silk with 7 easily divisible strands and a moderate lustre, in 5 m skeins. Soft, it does not snarl in the needle and stands up well to abrasion: ideal for cross stitch and counted thread work, needlepoint, free embroidery, bobbin lace and the restoration of tapestries and embroideries; stitch with lengths of no more than 45 cm. The palette has over 600 colours, numbered in series where the last digit runs from the lightest to the darkest shade; here you can filter them with the colour selector.
