Cencio di nonna

It is a cotton fabric whose treads are regular (so as the linen) and just for this feature it is used to embroider on those fabrics whose thread is not regular. It corresponds to 40ct linen. You can put the "cencio di nonna" on the fabric you want to embroider and when you finish your work you can simply unthread the "cencio di nonna", obtaining in this way a very precise job.

If imbastisco this painting on fabric, you can easily remove after embroidering? Or I get confused with another type of canvas? Thank you

Dear, this just rag grandmother used to do what you yourself describe. Consider, for that rather busy. However it is easily removed after the embroidery, even better if 's help of a pair of tweezers (s precisely those from "eyebrows ", we say so), pulling thread by thread. Best wishes.

BUT IT'S USED FOR CROSS STITCH OR WHAT ELSE? I'VE TAKEN TOO FINE BUT HAS A STORY, NOT LOOKS FOR NOTHING TO AIDA CLOTH !!

In the product description it is not said that it is similar to the canvas 'Aida. It 's just a regular grain media that you can use both for cross stitch that for all counted thread embroidery. I agree that the plot is pretty thin and in this sense we will modify the description because it is clearer.
