Le parole del cuore

Two hearts with a French feel, together with a complete upper and lower case alphabet and twelve words already charted. The alphabet is the most useful part: it lets you replace the suggested words with a name, a date or a short message, so the same design can become a different gift every time.

The purchase is for the chart only: fabric and threads are chosen and bought separately, on Aida or on linen depending on the look you want. The motifs are small and quick to stitch; once finished they work well as padded hanging hearts, pincushions, lavender sachets or little framed pictures.
