Tuscany

A Tuscan landscape of rolling hills and cypress trees, printed in colour on Penelope canvas: the design is simply followed stitch by stitch, with no counting involved. Penelope is a double-thread canvas, so it can be worked in standard needlepoint or, by separating the threads, in petit point for the finer details.

The kit contains the printed canvas only: threads are not included. The model is worked in 29 DMC Soft Cotton colours, a soft matt cotton with good coverage on this mesh; tapestry wool is a good alternative. A blunt tapestry needle is also needed, and a frame if preferred. Once finished, the panel can be framed or made up into a cushion.
