Sunday, the 23rd of May we are glad to invite all of you at the ... 2010 Festa del Ricamo Our guests: *Sharon Crescent* of *Crescent Colours* directly from the United States she will present not only her threads, well known and appreciated by all embroiderers, but also the thread packs by *Little House of Needleworks, Country Cottage of Needlework, Praiseworth Stitchery* and the brand new series of patterns created by her and her daughter Meaghan. *Marie Suarez* from Belgium she will bring her latest creations, a delicate interpretation of cross-stitching works which are often mixed with the traditional stitches in order to create unique and particular embroideries. Moreover she will present her very original patterns created in cooperation with Vaupel & Heilenbeck. *Nicoletta Farrauto* Italian artist well known and appreciated abroad as the designer of important brands like Blackbird Designs, and now also protagonist in Italy and of our catalog with her new collection of works and very original embroidery projects. *Maria Concetta Ronchetti* of *Antichi Ricami* master of the Swiss stitch who will make you know with practical examples the executive techniques of her very particular embroidery together with her several old creations. *Jennifer Manefield* of *Stof-DK* (the already famous fabrics loved by all patchwork addicted) and *Patrizia Girlanda* (among the principal representatives of the Italian quilt/patchwork) will have together a sort of workshop in order to practically show their work among the several fabric cuts which will decorate the rooms of the Festa. There will also be (but only with her wonderful charts and a little present for all of you) Gigi Ries, whose Letters by Gigi are a must have for all embroiderers. We will also have the pleasure to introduce you to the first books by Casa Cenina created in cooperation with Fiorella Collection, a precious work we created to re-discover the great tradition of the Italian embroidery. Moreover ... some other wonderful surprises are waiting for all the friends who will come on this special occasion! A unique chance to meet your best loved authors, see their works and, why not... ask for a signature, make some pictures to keep in your album. The event is an exceptional occasion to meet these popular embroidery designers and see really closely their brand new works. As it is now our tradition for the Festa del Ricamo all the designers will give to each visitor a special gift made on pourpose for this special occasion. The event is absolutely free and it will take place in a typical Tuscan villa near Arezzo. We are waiting for you! Where does the Festa del Ricamo take place?
The Festa takes place, as for the past years, in the Relais Santaflora. We will be there from 9:45 in the morning until 18:00 p.m.
The restaurant of the Relais has prepared a Festa del Ricamo menu if you decide to dine in the place of the Festa.
Is there any transport service from the station of Arezzo?
Yes, this year we will have two little bus which will shuttle from the station to the Relais in the morning and in the afternoon (we will pay attention to guarantee the presence of the buses when the principal trains arrive - however, you can contact the driver, Franco, at the following number +39 3935628820). It is also possible to reach the place of the Festa by taking the train from Arezzo to Capolona. From the station of Capolona there are about 400mt. to arrive at the Relais.
Where can I find a hotel for the night?

Can I buy any products?
Of course! This year (as we have learnt from the experience of the past years) we will prepare a lot of stands with a wide selection of products from our catalog and the entire Resort will be at our disposal!
You can also make a Pick&Pay order (by selecting the option "Festa del Ricamo") in the page of the chart as Shipping Method. This way, you will find the pack already prepared and you will be able to benefit from all the cuts you have the right of and... you will be sure to find what you are looking for.
This year all the products on display will have a Festa's price which will make it particularly convenient to make your purchases. In order to avoid long queues at the Counter, we have decided not to make on-line orders and each cash will directly give you the receipt.
