Instructions for Use
Use a household iron at approximately 130°C (266°F) for about 15 seconds. Remove the silicone-coated release paper while still warm. Once the adhesive has cooled, remove any excess adhesive residue if necessary. When applying the prepared patch, badge, appliqué or embroidered design to a fabric, follow the same recommended temperature and application time.
It is essential to apply very light pressure to prevent the adhesive from penetrating too deeply into the fabric weave, which would reduce its bonding performance. If necessary, increase the application time rather than the pressure to achieve the best results.
When working with particularly thick or uneven fabrics, repeat the process to apply an additional layer of adhesive to the patch, badge, appliqué or embroidery before the final application.
The recommended temperatures and application times are provided as guidelines only and should be adjusted according to the materials being used. As a general rule, to avoid damaging delicate fabrics, it is preferable to increase the application time rather than the temperature.
Since the adhesive naturally migrates toward the heat source during application, heat should be applied from the reverse side of the garment, rather than directly onto the patch. In other words, position the patch on the right side of the fabric and iron from the wrong side whenever possible. The adhesive reaches its maximum bonding strength after 48 hours.
Do not wash the finished item before the 48-hour curing period has elapsed. Afterwards, gentle washing with mild detergents is recommended.
