Description

153V Vintage Burgundy is a Kreinik Fine (#8) Braid metallic thread with a vintage (antiqued metal) finish, used as it is: a single ply that is not separated or plied and does not unravel. It measures about 0.50 mm in diameter and covers like two strands of stranded cotton, so on 14-count Aida it replaces the two strands called for in cross stitch charts; in needlepoint it gives light coverage on 18-mesh canvas.

Charts list Kreinik colours by number; where a match exists, the table shows the closest DMC Mouliné shade according to the manufacturer. Below you will find the nearest shades, useful when replacing a colour.
