We recommend stitching one of the ""Embroidery Girls"" designs each month, each named after a flower of the 12 months. Most of the designs are in color, and there are also pages on the basics of cross-stitching and how to use a cut-out canvas.
About the author:
After working as a designer at an advertising agency, she has been working as an embroidery artist since 2011. She designs and creates patterns based on the theme of ""embroidery with a story."" Her arrangements of colorful and playful original designs are popular, and she has been featured in many books and magazines.
Though the text is in Japanese, patterns and pictures speak a universal language and stitchers can enjoy this book with no difficulty at all.
