Wool Embroidery with 50 Stitches

This book is a project collection showing how to add wool embroidery to ready-made knitwear of any kind! Using 50 unique stitches, we can create a wide variety of designs and motifs, inspired to flowers and floral on the whole. The models included are stitched with DMC Eco Vita, a slightly thicker wool embroidery thread, but we can also use other wool threads, such as Appleton’s tapestry wool, or Aubusson wool and create lovely decorations, such as a simple crew-neck cardigan placket with delicate small flowers, or stitch a bold floral design around the neckline!
The knit items chosen for embroidery include basic yet trend-friendly pieces such as crew necks, V-necks, cardigans, and turtlenecks. We can also customize accessories like gloves and knit caps to create our own original style. All 50 stitches are explained with full-color, step-by-step instructions.
