Flight

The light, airy flight of a ballet dancer, to work in counted cross stitch on white Aida. The 16-count fabric gives small stitches and crisp detail, so the design suits stitchers who already have some practice with counting; it is worked with two strands of mouliné following the colour chart.

The kit brings together fabric, threads, needle and chart: the instructions are in English and Russian only, though the colour grid is easy to follow whatever language you read. You will still want a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut and, once the stitching is done, a frame to hang the finished picture.
